Sustainable Story
Harmony in Nature: A Journey with UCNATUREL
The Essence of Purity: From Soil to Skin

True beauty begins at the source. In the heart of Bulgaria’s Kazanlak Valley, where Damask roses have flourished for over 300 years, local farmers rise before dawn to handpick each delicate bloom at its most fragrant peak. The cool morning air preserves the roses’ potency, while traditional steam distillation captures their essence in its purest form. Each drop of this precious oil carries the story of generations who have tended these fields with care and reverence.

Further south, in Oman’s Dhofar region, frankincense trees stand strong against the desert winds. For centuries, harvesters have carefully made Y-shaped incisions in the bark, allowing the sacred resin to flow and crystallize under the sun before it is collected by hand. This traditional method, passed down through generations, ensures that every piece of frankincense captures the land’s strength and wisdom—an ancient gift to modern skincare. The trees are harvested just 2 to 3 times a year, a practice that preserves their growth and ensures their vitality for centuries to come.
Craftsmanship: Honoring Tradition, Embracing Renewal

At UCNATUREL, every creation tells a story that bridges the past and the present, connecting craftsmanship with sustainability. In the ancient city of Fuzhou, where woodcarving has been an art passed down through generations, a small group of artisans honors this tradition by transforming reclaimed black walnut wood into stunning pieces of art.
In the past, royal palaces would commission luxurious woodcarvings, often discarding perfectly good wood simply to select the most flawless grain. But Wood carving heritage artisan Chen Apo’s father, a man ahead of his time, rejected this wastefulness. Instead, he believed in the beauty of repurposing. He began collecting discarded furniture—old wooden beds, tables, and chairs—and lovingly re-carved them into practical items for everyday life, ensuring that these materials had a second chance to shine.

Today, the same spirit of sustainability lives on. Every UCNATUREL black walnut lid is carefully crafted by hand, shaped and sanded to perfection, with the unique grain of each piece shining through. This meticulous process is not just about creating a product—it’s about preserving a piece of history. It’s about honoring the wisdom of those before us, who understood that beauty doesn’t comefrom excess, but from respect for what nature gives us.
Giving Back: Planting Roots, Nurturing Futures

In 2024, together with our community, we planted 10,000 Tamarix trees.
Ancient saying: "There is a cycle of the Dao." We take from nature and return to nature in kind. Sustainability is more than preservation; it is an act of renewal. For every UCNATUREL product that reaches your hands, a tree is planted in our founder’s hometown—anever-growing testament to gratitude and responsibility. These trees stand as silent witnesses to our commitment, absorbing carbon, sheltering wildlife, and offering a legacy of green for generations to come.
Beyond the forests, our care extends to the hands that shape the future. In the quiet classrooms of remote mountain villages, women dedicate their lives to education, nurturing young minds with unwavering devotion. To honor their resilience, we support these educators, offering moments of self-care to those who give so much. It is our way of saying: you are seen, you are valued, and you are part of the harmony we create together.
